Running for Office Long Before They Even Announce

Senate candidate (in 2010) Conrad Reynolds of Arkansas warned that Americans need to speak out against what he described as domestic enemies.

“We need to change if we want to stop the way America is going toward socialism,” Reynolds said. “We need someone to stand up to Barack Obama and his policies. We must protect our culture, our Christian identity.”

“Christian identity” is a phrase used by a number of religious sects and white supremacists that indicates a belief that the only true children of god are white and that all other races are descendants of the “beasts of the field.”

They tend to believe, as do the followers of British Israelism, that the current Israelis are not descended from the 10 lost tribes. But instead are Edomites or Khazars.

Some believers in British Israelism have gone so far as to say that the British Royal Family is directly descended from the line of King David.

After his speech, Reynolds said before an interview that he would be careful with his answers.

“I don’t want to do a Kim Hendren,” Reynolds said.

Reynolds was referring to state Sen. Kim Hendren, R-Gravette, who also has said he’s running for the U.S. Senate. Hendren, in a speech to a Republican group, referred to a U.S. senator from New York as being Jewish and during a legislative meeting referred to a black federal judge as being the “new minority” judge.

Reynolds sounds like he’s one of those “God loves white people and the rest of you are going to burn in hell” types.

But it sounds like Ken Hendren got caught in the “politically correct” trap. Where it’s all right for someone like Sotomayor to refer to herself as a minority but god help the white politician who does, unless he’s a supporter.

All in all it’s much ado about nothing. The voters know who these people are.

As far as being politically correct is concerned, no comment will ever be presented as innocent so long as some publisher can generate interest in their lame reporting by making a mountain out of a molehill.

Good parts of Real ID May Be Trashed

I’m not a fan of the rfid attached to the Real ID legislation, but now several senators have banded together to destroy what little there is about it that might actually benefit the country.

Under the proposed “Pass ID” laws the states would no longer be responsible for verifying the documentation required to obtain a driver’s license.

The secretary of homeland security testified last week, states would no longer need to verify a person’s identity before issuing a driver’s license or identification card. They would not be required to resolve Social Security number mismatches; nor would they need to ensure the person does not possess duplicate or additional licenses or identification cards issued from other states.

In other words, all a terrorist(or illegal alien) needs to do is bring in a bogus birth certificate and they will be issued a legitimate drivers license.

The Real ID act was passed unanimously by the senate in response to 9/11. Some portions of the act were an overreaction and the embedded RFID portion was nothing more than a way for the resident “goose stepping Nazis” (and sales organizations) to track our every move.

Now certain parties in government and other “interested parties” want to hamstring the legislation in part because states aren’t prepared to deal with it and in part to make the continued hiring of cheap but illegal workers easier.

Sotomayor are Nothing More Than a Dog and Pony Show

I can’t decide if Sonia Sotomayor should give tap dancing or bull fighting classes, because she successfully danced around or avoided altogether every important issue in the Senate confirmation hearings.

Her answers don’t matter. In fact it’s best if she doesn’t answer, which is probably the advice the Whitehouse strategists gave her. The votes are already in and her confirmation is a given.

Why they go through this charade is beyond me. I guess the law says they must, but the process ranks right up there with so-called reality tv. It’s just a circus to keep the public distracted and happy while the powers-that-be continue to run things to suit themselves.

We are about to have a Supreme Court Justice installed who will give racial minorities and woman an advantage regardless of the facts in the case. –As shown by the now infamous “firefighters case.”

The more I watch the various appointments and the various changes made by or demanded by the current administration, the more of a Socialist President Obama appears to be.

Unfortunately socialism has proven untenable in every country where it has been tried. –The former Soviet Union is the best example.

Cop Who Got Probation for Beating up Bartender also Attacked Someone Else Earlier

In spite of being caught on security video beating the crap out of a female bartender and in spite of the prosecution producing a video from earlier that day showing this slime ball attacking another individual.

“Judge John Fleming said he decided against jail because he did not believe the crime was serious enough and throwing Abbate behind bars would not be a deterrent to others.

“If I believed that sending Anthony Abbate to prison would stop people from getting drunk and hitting other people, I’d sentence him to the maximum,” the judge said. “But I don’t believe that is the case.”

I wholeheartedly agree. This is not going to stop some other knuckledragger from beating people up. But by that logic the prisons in Illinois should be empty. Locking up a murderer has never stopped anyone else from killing people.

The police department is seeking to have Abbate fired, and the Independent Police Review Authority has recommended that he be dismissed, according to Supt. Jody Weis. The case is up before the Police Board on July 7.

“I don’t think anyone who behaves like that should be a police officer,” Weis said after the sentencing.

But Weis said he was not going to recommend the officer’s case to federal authorities because he was off-duty at the time. “I would be shocked if the Department of Justice pursued [the case]” he said.

Mark P. Donahue, head of the Fraternal Order of Police, had little comment about the sentence except to say, “He had his day in court, and like it or not, the results are what they are.”

His first hearing with the board was July 7 but that’s just him and his lawyers getting together with them to set a schedule. –There is still a chance that this asshole will still have a badge when all is said and done.

You Want to Know What’s Wrong With This Country?

A 15 year old girl was walking in the street in NYC when she fell down an open manhole.

How, you ask, could such a thing happen? Simple. She was texting instead of looking where she was going.

Except for a few scrapes and bruises the girl was unhurt. Now the family says they will sue. –Yeppers, they heard the ol’ cash register drawer open.

MSNBC: The family said they will file a lawsuit — for what, though, is not immediately clear. Her mother, Kim Longueira, said it doesn’t matter that her daughter was walking and texting, and also, the ‘gross’ factor that can’t be ignored.

“Oh my God, it was putrid,” she said. “One of her sneakers is still down there”

I fully expect to see this girl holding a press conference, tearfully recalling her harrowing ordeal while sporting enough gauze for a remake of the Mummy, using crutches and wearing a neck brace. –With the caring support of her family and their team of lawyers.
